Q. I'm leaving for a cottage in Haliburton Highlands tommorow, and I need a list to help me pack. We're staying for 4 nights and 5 days. What should I bring?

A. Absolutely Here are things that it is difficult to imagine not packing: Toiletries Toothpaste Toothbrush Contact lens equipment and spare glasses You might also wish to consider extended-wear contact lenses, especially if you are going to be going somewhere with poor water supplies (e.g. camping). Makeup (for business trips) Razor Hair care equipment (brushes, comb, blow dryer) You might wish to consider growing a beard, letting your leg hair grow out, and/or getting a crewcut (yes, women too!) if you are going on a long, low-budget trip. Condoms These might be unavailable or difficult to obtain where you are going, especially in Catholic countries. Business/calling cards If you are traveling on business, the utility of business… [cont.]

How to list multiple locations of a business on a resume?
Q. My company is opening a new location, which I will be transferring to. Since I'm still with the same company, should I leave it as one line on my resume, or should I list it as two? I want to indicate to future employers that I worked at both locations, though I didn't "quit" to transfer. In this particular industry, it's worth listing both locations. Thanks!

Is there a list of countries Australian citizens can visit without getting a visa?
Q. I know of a few, but what would be good is a full list of countries. Does anyone know of a list or could provide one.
Asked by The G - Thu May 6 21:04:07 2010 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments

A. To get a vague overview you could use the attached website. .. Concerning Europe the wiki website does not provided very clear information since it distinguishes between EU and non-EU countries. This however has no relevance; there are non-EU countries which are signatory to the Schengen Agreement and EU-countries which do not participate. Australian passport holders can stay in the entire Schengen zone for 90 days within 6 months without visa. All non-Schengen countries except the former countries of the Soviet Union (Belarus, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine) do not require a prior visa to be obtained through an Embassy. .. However before you actually travel you should check the requirements on the websites of the appropriate Embassies/Cons [cont.]

What is a list of elementals and other supernaturals?
Q. I'm getting ready to start a story of my own for dA and the topic is on a school for Supernaturals. I've been having a tough time though searching for elementals such as Fire, water, earth, and air... Is there any others to go along with the list? Also I need a decent list involving vampires, werewolves, and others to that nature.

A. These are the elementals Fire=Salamanders Water=Undines Earth=Gnomes Air=Sylphs. A good source to look at would be Irish Fairy tales. They include Phookas, Waterhorses, Brownies, Goblins, Shidhe, (or the Fey), Dragons, then the animals-unicorns, talking cats, etc.

Where can I find a list of requirements for adoption and home study?
Q. I know that an adopting family needs a space for the child, smoke detectors, and emergency escape plan. But is there a list somewhere online? I've been looking all over the internet for a couple of days but cannot come up with anything helpful. I'm looking specifically for Ohio, but a generic list is fine, or even a list from another state just to give me an idea. I want a web site, NOT suggestions on what to put into a search engine or stuff like that.
Asked by Erica - Mon Jul 9 13:50:27 2007 - - 9 Answers - 0 Comments

A. With over 20 years in adoption work, and having approved over 400 families to adopt, I can tell you what we looked for. Many of these requirements are set in stone in our state, as they are with every state. And then the agency approving you will also have their own requirements -- some may have "Christian only" or "No smoking" reqirments, for example. But the basic requirements are as follows: Job and job history - stable employment history Salary - decent stable salary reflected on your tax returns, pay stubs and employment letters Taxes - good history of completing verifiable tax returns Marriages - usually look at number (less than three is preferable!) and length of current marriage (usually 3+ years) Divorces - will need copies of… [cont.]

Since I am Chinese, I know that many modernized countries in Europe and North America are surely to pass Visa. Other countries for example Africa and Middle East have a harder regulation. Trust me sir. Nobody will post it on a website. It's a "Rasial Secret". In United States also, they too have Rasial Secrets. I hope this will answer your question. Thank you and have a nice day! : )

What is the appropriate way to list private and independently contracted work on my resume?
Q. I have been working as an English tutor part-time for about a year now. I don't work for a company. I just advertise on Craig's List and so all of my students have come either from my ad on there or word of mouth. How do I list this type of thing on my resume? Also, sometimes I do copy work for a professional acquaintance of mine, but I am not employed by him. How do I list this? Thanks. Thanks (((UP)))!
Asked by Linz - Wed May 20 18:05:13 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. I would think you do that the same way I list my private practice on a resume'. A brief title, the period of time you performed the tasks, and a brief description of the tasks performed. Example: English Tutor: January 1999 to Present Provided speaking and written language skills training to 55 students attending high school and University. Skills included vocabulary, spelling, pronunciation, and technical writing education. Something like that... in the same format you would denote any other job. At least... that's how I would do it... How do I get back my list upon signing in after downloading the latest version of YM?
Q. I just downloaded the latest version of Yahoo Messenger, however the list that once populated my sign-up screen has only a couple listed, and the rest do not appear. I'd like to view the list upon signing in so I can readily access each contact.

A. Downloading newer versions of YMSGR should not affect your contact list. That is saved on Yahoo servers not on your computer. Either you got a corrupted version or you have figured it out how to view the list already/ Anyways if you have problems still i suggest you download the new version again, or check on tool bar what list you viewing.
