A. I love this book!! It has been a while since I have read it, but here is my attempt at a summary, just post another question if you need something even more specific. Audrina lives in an old mansion with her mother, father, aunt, and her aunt's daughter Vera. The father Damion goes off to work everyday, and Vera goes to school so Audrina is left to spend her days isolated in the house with her mother and aunt. Audrina is not allowed to leave he house because she had an older sister, also named Audrina, who was attacked by boys and raped and killed in the woods near their home. A. I liked The Dollanganger series, although I thought the books after Flowers in the Attic weren't quite as good as that first book. Flowers in the Attic was such an intriguing, creepy story to read, and the following books were good, just not quite as interesting.

A. For V.C. Andrews books you can check out Gutenberg's library at the link I have provided. I would not think there would be much, if any, that have moved into the public domain yet, as she is a current author and her rights are still protected. Still you cn take a look, you may find others you wish to read. Gutenberg is the number one site for online un-protected works.

Which V.C.Andrews book series do you like best?
Q. I'm probably the only person who knows about her, but i was wondering whats your favorite series do you like. I know she died, but she did write the castel series and the other 2 that person says. I'm a fan of her why wouldn't i know stuff like that. And also she wrote down every book idea and way it should be wrtien out, thats what the ghost writer gose off from. its not her writing but its her ideas.

A. OMG I Love VC Andrews...I haven't read any of her books in like 10 yrs lol. I loved the The Landry series the best. Number 2 would be the The Logan series and 3 would be the Cutler series. EDIT: Sorry I forgot the The Casteel series...that one is equal first lol I have read all the series up to The Orphans series.

A. well, I've read The Dollanganger Series..which is Flowers In The Attic..and those that follow. I liked those ones a lot. I tried reading Melody..and a few others..but just couldn't get into them. I think the ones that were actually wrote by VC Andrews were the best..which weren't many..after she died, the family hired a 'ghost writer' to write under her name.. But check out her website, there is a description of every series.

A. I LOVE the flowers in the attic series! My mom gave them to me when I was nine, but I never actually picked them up until I was 12. I'm 14 now and would definitely reread them. I think by the time you're in 8th/7th grade you already hear most of the content in real life and if you haven't it's time to stop being so sheltered. Maybe that's just me though. I say go for it! :)

A. It was REALLY hard to find songs but after...1 hour (yes 1 hour) i can only find of a few but one of them has swear words but its covered up? Eminem - clean my closet (but it says 'sorry mama' so there is a little sympathy going on) Bad Day by Daniel Powter (it talks only about ONE DAY and it is more modern) In The End - Linkin Park (This is a really good one) Somewhere i belong - Linkin Park (Also really good) sorry that is all i can think of)

A. Virginia Andrews died in 1986 but she left a lot of work unpublished. The last book published of "Virgina Andrews" is Garden of Shadows. But She has a pen name which is shared by her and Andrew Neiderman = V.C Andrews. The newest one of that is going to be The Heavenstone Secrets Due out Dec. 2009 and Secret Whispers due 2010 of the Heaven series. She plenty of other series if you follow the V-C-andrews link. A. According to a book I have on the greatest 100 young adult writers of all time, Virginia Andrews actually intended the novel to be for older, retired females. However, after it was released, her publisher soon found that it was just as popular with teenage girls. Subsequent books were written with this in mind, however, there are some very mature and disturbing themes in the Flowers in the Attic. Incest (first the parents, then their children) and in the sequel pedophilia when 15 year old Cathy begins a sexual relationship with her guardian. The Heaven series was (slightly) less disturbing. what is value of book published in 1872, Autobiography of Emerson Andrews, signed by author?
Q. I have an old book, published in 1872 titled Autobiography of Emerson Andrews. It is signed by the author with an inscription to Deacon Charles White, who also signed as owner of the book. It falls under the "revival" category, so I do not know how the book buying market is for that category. A. Why not search for a website for the author? The information may be there, or check the publisher of the first two books and see if their website has the information. You could always email the publisher or contact the author, assuming the author or publisher has a website.
